The ITA and our members have a strong commitment to highway and driver safety and to ensuring regulatory compliance. Coordination with regulatory organizations and frequent safety education opportunities keep members informed of rapidly changing laws affecting the trucking industry. Through our outreach to the Idaho legislature, the ITA highlights the importance of continuing investments in state roads and highways to ensure a safe and reliable transportation system for all.

Regulation

The ITA has been instrumental in fostering a fair and consistent climate for the trucking industry in Idaho. Whether educating legislators about the history of Idaho’s commercial vehicle registration system or working with state and national associations to promote uniform regulations, we provide a united voice for members on matters affecting transportation.
