The 9th Episode of the Double Clutch will feature Kelsey Hyslop from
International Rescue Committee
Weds, May 10th at 9:30am
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Boise has been helping refugees build a new life in Boise since 2007. In 2022, our clients include many individuals from Afghanistan who served with the US Military and Allied Forces, who were evacuated to the US following the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan.
Many have driving, technician, and pilot backgrounds.
IRC’s CDL Permit Study Group is an online and in-person class where refugees can practice questions for the General Knowledge, Air Brakes, and Combination Vehicles tests. From there, we help find training, funding for training, and employment. During the permit group, we host guest speakers of experts in the transportation industry, tour job sites, and help with all the parts of the CDL process.
