The Idaho Trucking Association offers two categories of membership to serve the diverse needs of the trucking and transportation industry:
Carrier Membership
Carrier members are those who operate motor vehicles for the transportation of people or goods. This membership is ideal for businesses directly involved in trucking and transportation operations.
- Full Member: A voting member of the ITA that operates 3 or more trucks based in Idaho. Dues are based on mileage driven by the fleet, in Idaho, and may be pro-rated. Full Members will enjoy full benefits of the ITA.
- Associate Member: a nonvoting member of the ITA that is either an owner operator or a fleet of trucks of 20 or less based in Idaho. Dues for one truck are fixed at $150.00 annually, dues for a fleet of 2 to 20 trucks will be $300.00 annually, dues will not be prorated.
Current members that have 2 to 20 trucks are not eligible for Associate membership, former ITA members can purchase an Associate membership after two years of inactivity with the ITA for fleets of 20 trucks and under. Fleets of 20 trucks and under will still be able to purchase full membership if they choose to enjoy full benefits of the ITA. An associate member will have access to events, safety programs, health insurance plan and affinity programs, if an Associate member request help with a regulatory issue, the ITA President/CEO will set a fee case by case to help the associate member with the issue to cover ITA costs.
Dues Calculation:
Full Carrier membership dues are based on the total mileage your vehicles traveled within Idaho during the previous year. Once you submit your application, we will verify your information and calculate your dues accordingly.
Allied Membership
Allied members are businesses that manufacture, supply, or sell equipment or services to the motor transport industry. This membership is perfect for those who support the industry but do not operate motor vehicles as their primary function.
Annual Dues:
Allied membership dues are $475 per calendar year.
